People of Indian Origin Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PIOCCI) have recently launched the PIO Investor Helpdesk in partnership with Invest India, the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency of India which acts as the first point of reference for investors in India.

The launch and inauguration ceremony was held on 10th January, 2019 at Taj Palace, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, in which Shri Piyush Goyal, Hon’ble Union Minister for Commerce & Industry and Railways, Government of India was the Chief Guest. The event was followed by a special conference on “Global Indians for a USD 5 Trillion Economy” which saw the participation of the companies and investors from varied industries who have helped to shape the Indian investment sector by boosting the diasporic economic engagement.

At the official launch of this one-of-a-kind portal, Maj. Manjit Rajain, Founder & Chairman of Tenon Group, underlined its necessity for the Indian diaspora scattered around the globe who are actively exploring the investment avenues in India.
