As a result of the long and continuing campaign for equal rights waged by women across the world in their various capacities, many subjects pertaining to their mental and physical well-being are no longer the taboos they once were. Still, there’s a way to go yet before the discourse around these concerns (be it gynaecological health, financial autonomy, representation at the workplace, or the right to an orgasm) becomes normalised. On the occasion of International Women’s Day 2022, News9 reached out to women across India to find out their ‘wish list’ for the challenges of womanhood they felt were discussed with frankness and honesty in society.
